NTCA Group Health Plan (GHP) Triple AAA PPO HDHP

A high deductible health plan (HDHP) is a health plan with lower premiums through your pretax payroll deductions with higher deductibles and co-insurance amounts compared to a regular PPO health plan.

  • A health savings account (HSA) is a component of a HDHP which is an account that you can use to pay medical expenses.
  • Finley Engineering makes a pretax contribution to your HSA account on a pay period basis.
  • You can also make a pre-tax contribution to your HSA account.
  • You own the account, even if you leave Finley Engineering, Inc.
  • Tax-advantages: contribute pre-tax money, funds accrue tax-free and withdraw funds tax-free (if they are for eligible medical expenses)

ALL claims are applied towards the deductible except for preventive care. That means:

  • No Office Visit co-pays until you meet the $2,000 deductible.
  • No Prescription Drug co-pays until you have met the Rx deductible of $1,850
  • You meet deductible before any benefits are paid (except for preventive care) for yourself or family members. This is an embedded plan, so all individual deductible amounts will count toward the family deductible, but an individual will not have to pay more than the individual deductible amount.
